Kitchen remodeling in Joliet: a fresh look from cabinets to flooring

White cabinets, fresh paint and a warm wood-look floor brought a brighter feel to this Joliet kitchen. Our work focused on four updates: the walls, ceiling, cabinets and flooring, plus a new ceiling light.

A brighter kitchen, using the existing cabinets

For this project, PrimeFix painted all of the kitchen cabinets, changing the original wood finish to white. Keeping the existing cabinetry and refreshing its finish gave the room a different character while preserving the familiar layout.

We also painted the walls and ceiling, replaced the old flooring with vinyl, and replaced the ceiling light fixture. The light wood-look floor adds warmth alongside the white cabinetry and soft wall color.

The preparation photo shows the cabinet openings and windows carefully masked before painting. The before-and-after views show how these updates work together across the whole room, from the cabinet fronts to the floor beneath them.
